Enhancing Healthcare Delivery, Provider Enrollment, and Management
Image API partnered with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to provide a front and back-end web solution for Children’s Medical Services. The system provides ubiquitous access for Physician providers and for parents and caretakes of children in the program.
Now known across FDOH as simply the CMS system, potential physician providers can apply and re-enroll via this on-line solution. Providers are offered the convenience of applying on-line and receiving their certifications within days as opposed to months. Additionally, parents of children in need are able to use the application to locate the physicians of their choice by location and specialization.
Program directors use the CMS reporting function to gain visibility into all aspects of the process. New applications, status, time frames, and other performance metrics are available for management of the process.
One of the most critical components in the solution is Image API’s iCenter. The iCenter solution is an enterprise content repository. Used across Image API’s government client base, iCenter is the foundation to Image API’s on-line portal process automation. It supports both web-based and fax entry from the Providers. It also supports the need to audit the entire document collection to ensure compliance and acceptance.
