Texas DIR Contract Number DIR-SDD-860

Texas government entities can acquire technology services from Image API under the Texas Department of Information Resources Contract DIR-SDD-860. The technology categories are:

• Application Maintenance and Support
• Project Management
• Technology Migration/Upgrade & Transformation
• Application Development

Application Maintenance and Support

The Application Maintenance and Support technology category allows Image API to provide the skills and requirements for supporting application systems, including:

• Troubleshooting
• Modifying
• Maintaining
• Enhancing legacy systems.

Application Maintenance and Support also applies to applications running in a production environment.

Project Management

The Project Management technology category allows Image API to perform any and all of the project management processes identified by the Project Management Institute as published in Table 3-45 of the PMBOKÒ Guide, Third Edition or most recent.

Technology Migration/Upgrade & Transformation

Image API is allowed to provide Technology Migration/Upgrade & Transformation Technology services. Technology Upgrade may be required to increase business functionality, reengineer a business function, keep current with vendor upgrades or when upgrading existing technology. Technology Transformation may be accomplished by converting/migrating legacy applications to new technology either with or without new business functionality or it may include introducing new technology into the enterprise. Technology Upgrade/Migration may also include providing website content accessibility compliance.

Application Development

Image API is allowed to provide Application Development services. Application Development means the development of new applications which may be mainframe, server, network-based, web-based or a combination. The requirements for new applications may require interfaces to existing applications.

Instructions for Placing Purchase Orders

State of Texas government entities may issue purchase orders to Image API for the services cited above by requesting a Statement of Work (SOW) and issuing a purchase order based on the SOW.

• 1. In order to be awarded a Purchase Order, Image API must respond, in writing, to a Statement of Work (SOW) for services as issued by the Texas government entity, consistent with the Terms and Conditions of the Contract. View Section 4 of Contract DIR-SDD-860
• 2. Upon acceptance and agreement, the government entity will issue a Purchase Order for services.
