A Business Process Management solution by Image API helped keep more than 3,000 HHSC case workers processing benefit applications without interruption while awaiting rollout of a permanent statewide online benefits management system.
Image API converted 27 million pages of crucial benefits documents to digital files and provided more than 3,000 case workers with immediate access to them through the Image API web-based Axiom Pro enterprise content management system.
The project required facility acquisition and build-out, along with equipment purchase and implementation, pilot phase conversion services, and final full-scale project rollout. Staff worked in shifts 24 hours a day, six days a week to transport, convert, index, and store the 27 million pages of crucial benefits documents.
